City of Shelby Joins the SSI Family!

We’re excited to welcome the City of Shelby to the SSI family! Located in north-central Ohio, Shelby is a vibrant community known for its strong local leadership and commitment to serving residents with excellence.

The city recently purchased VIP Accounting, VIP Payroll, VIP Employee Portal, and VIP Analytics to replace aging systems that no longer met their needs. With operations becoming more manual and less efficient, they knew it was time to modernize. Here’s how we’re helping Shelby optimize their processes and make everyday work easier.

Challenges They Faced

Shelby was dealing with disconnected systems and a lot of manual work. Here’s a snapshot of some key challenges their team wanted to solve:

  • Employee self-service wasn’t available, so HR had to handle every request—from pay stub copies to time off balances.
